My STORY
As a commercial photographer of 20+ years, I've created images for major brands, shooting subjects, scenes, and moments all over the world. There are pictures around every corner, each one capable of telling a unique story. I still travel and shoot for my commercial clients, but having moved back to my home state of New Hampshire, I decided to create a retail studio that shares the storytelling nature of my commercial work. With more than 50 years of combined photography experience, our team of creative professionals provide our customers unparalleled creativity and service. What we strive for here at Purple Finch, is to work with our customers, creating images as art. We take the time to discover who our subjects are, what they enjoy, what makes them... them. We've all seen photos of babies sleeping in a catcher's mitt or wearing a ladybug costume, but it's unlikely anyone has ever seen either scenario in real life. We've all seen photos of families dressed in blue jeans and white shirts, sitting on the beach. These are the plain ol' yellow mustard of photos that will end up living in a drawer. We'd rather photograph your toddler sitting in a sunlit kitchen, making short work of a cupcake with sprinkles... or your 5 year old, all attitude in their t-ball uniform... or an engagement photo that reenacts your first date.
